In fact, I plan to go see it tomorrow myself.

Soaplands are quite popular among foreign tourists, but recently, there have been a number of crackdowns on these establishments.
While we haven’t heard of any customers being arrested, it’s fair to say there may be some risks involved in using soaplands with complete peace of mind.

Strictly speaking, full service at a soapland is technically illegal under Japanese law.
If you want to enjoy Japan’s adult entertainment safely, it’s best to understand the rules in advance.

By the way, it looks like the new Tom Cruise movie just got released in Japan at the same time as in the US.
